Karen is HCPC registered and a member of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists – thus ensuring the highest of clinical standards. Qualifying in 1989, Karen has worked in NHS Lanarkshire since 1992 across various specialisations and as an advanced practitioner for the past 15 years.
Part of her role has been mentoring and supervising students and newly qualified podiatrists in general clinics and nail surgery.
Karen is also rolling out a development programme in electrosurgery for qualified podiatrists in NHS Lanarkshire.

Taking sole ownership of Scotstoun Foot Clinic in 2015, the premises have had a thorough refurbishment to a very high standard – creating a friendly and professional space to provide treatment for all your foot care needs.
While Karen specialises in wound healing, nail surgery and electrosurgery – as a leading clinician she understands the importance of maintaining a high level of foot care and offers basic treatments such as nail cutting and corn and callous removal. Karen is also expert at the use of local anaesthetics in the feet, should the treatment require.
Each treatment package is tailored to your individual needs and house calls can also be arranged.
